Last Friday Night - Katy Perry Music Video

Today brings the debut of Katy Perry's music video Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F). The video features internet sensation Rebecca Black, musician Kenny G and 80's icons Debbie Gibson and Corey Feldman. It debuted on Funny Or Die ...which automatically gives one a sense of the tone of the short film.

The video showcases Katy Perry's comedic side and it's obvious that she's having a blast. It's amusing seeing her poke fun at her sexy side by portraying herself in this geeky dorky manner. I guess it was just a matter of time before Russell Brand's comedic sensibilities would begin rubbing off on her. Rebecca Black as the tutor of cool to Katy Perry's dork  is also ironically fun. I'm not sure what the casting of Hanson, Kenny G, Corey Feldman and Debbie Gibson is about. One can argue that it's a bit mean-spirited... but it SEEMS like they are all having a blast. So I'm not going to criticize. As far as pop jingles goes I enjoy the song...as well as the entire album by Katy Perry. Check it out down below!
